Here’s one of our all-time favourites… quick and easy to prepare and a super healthy snack for any time of the day or night. FLAX CRACKERS 4 cups whole flax seeds (soaked 4-6 hours) ⅓ to ½ cup Braggs Liquid Aminos Juice of 2-3 lemons Soak flax seeds for 4-6 hours in purified water. The flax seeds will turn into a gelatinous mixture, be sure to keep moist and loose for spreading. Add Braggs and lemon juice to taste and mix well. Spread mixture as thin as possible on your dehydrator trays lined with Paraflexx sheets. Keep your hands wet as this will help to spread the flax seeds or use an off-set spatula. Dry at 105 Fahrenheit for 5-6 hours. Then flip the mixture over and remove the Paraflexx sheet. Continue dehydrating until the mixture is completely dry, approximately another 5-6 hours. *You can spice up this basic recipe to make any flavour cracker you want, just add garlic, onions, carrot juice, taco seasoning, Italian seasoning, chilli powder or cumin in any combination, also try adding dried fruit for a sweeter cracker.
